April 27th

highly amused the pair of us to be danced up and down, by two men, at any rate, our adventures were very successful and we returned to the “Ship Moon” early in the afternoon.
April 27th brought us a great change in the weather, to cold and damp that made us put away our thin clothes and make ourselves comfortable in winter ones. On the evening I sat on lower deck and heard a very interesting conversation from Ms Wakefield on “education in Bengal,” the following day being cold and wet which I spent in the saloon sewing and playing games.April 29th Still cold and damp, with a thick mist that our captain had to anchor us for 36 hours, not knowing where we had got to having not seen the sun for a day or two.
